Director Casey Calvert (a guest at this year’s festival) has achieved the near impossible: to stage a perfect, dark lesbian thriller with stunning visuals against a Californian backdrop, with steamy sex scenes and compelling actresses. Three young women’s road trip ends at a mysterious beach house, led by the unsettling yet desirable Ligeia – played by none other than porn icon (and former PFFB guest) Aiden Starr. It’s going to get hot, wild… and murderous.
