Hija De Perra (English: female form of “son of a bitch”) is the most famous transvestite in the queer punk scene in Santiago, Chile. Transvestite in the sense of dissidence, rebellion and activism, Hija De Perra had a strong and extraordinary voice and aesthetic in a very conservative society between the years 2005-2014. Together with other outsiders, Perra created her own DIY universe standing against any kind of conformity. This documentary is an intimate and personal homage from the perspective of director and close friend Wincy Oyarce, providing an eye-opener to Perra’s world and work.
