A road movie between past, present and future, between trauma, renewal and madness. Eva and Théo have been a couple for years and know each other inside out. At a party they get to know Pénélope and decide to break out of everyday life and monogamy. For the author Théo, the road trip south offers the opportunity to escape his writer‘s block, and Eva begins to experiment with drugs and her own sexuality. But the newly won freedom is soon shaken when jealousy, fear of loss and paranoia come into play, and an act of supposed emancipation from monogamy and heteronormativity turns into a hellish trip heading for an apparently inevitable escalation.
