Cultural queering par excellence. The word palimpsest means the erasing and overwriting of historical documents, an ancient practice that often leaves traces of a document’s history behind telling different stories of its own past. In this experimental short film program, three found footage works are combined. They re-enact, re-contextualize, re-write or overwrite their diverse materials: a racist mainstream porn video from the 1990s, a Godard cinema classic and an Italian peplum movie.
