The film’s protagonist is a misogynist rapist escaping a clinic to search for his estranged father – once “the great stallion of Wuppertal” – to learn how to pick up women. The two wannabe womanizers embark on a quest for sex – a journey full of self-inflicted desperation and disgrace. A filmic antidote to masculism and pick-up artistry.
