Jayne Mansfield was a sex symbol and the embodiment of the stereotypical “dumb blonde”. And she was always in on the joke, very deliberately playing with her image. This experimental documentary portrays the ambivalent icon by combining archival footage with re-enactments, dance numbers and animated sequences. Jayne probably would’ve loved it!
