Ecstasy of the black rose
With self-irony, director Kumashiro takes a look at the porn business and the relationship between image and sound, between truth and lie in the film. Since the leading actress of his new band has become pregnant, Jûzô has to look for replacement. He finds the ideal cast in the young Ikuyo, whose groans he secretly recorded in a dental practice. Disguised as a private detective, he meets her and is immediately possessed by more than just her voice. A colorful dance of passion and jealousy is thus opened.
