With her blog “A Girl from Damascus”, a young Syrian lesbian named Amina made a worldwide splash, describing her life in war-shattered Syria. One of her biggest fans, Sandra from Canada, even starts an online affair with her that turns into a serious love relationship via Whatsapp and SMS – without ever speaking live to each other.
