Even though many of the German soft sex films of its era seem delightfully weird today, we also want to take a look at the darker, more edgy sides of the genre. The third film of the 13-part, immensely successful series SCHOOLGIRL REPORT – a hybrid between the sexual education film and the rural slapstick tradition of German cinema – is an antifeminist manifesto, a monument of rape culture. Not easy to swallow, but a time capsule from another time that has to be seen to be believed.
