9 feature films from the Porn Film Festival program take part in the international competition for the best feature film. A three-member jury awards the prize.
Jon Davies
Jon Davies is a curator, writer and art historian from Montreal, Canada. His writing on art and film has been published widely, including a book on Andy Warhol and Paul Morrissey’s film Trash in 2009. In 2023 he co-curated the 68th Robert Flaherty Film Seminar, “Queer World-Mending”, with artist Steve Reinke.
Harvey Rabbit
Harvey Rabbit is a transgender US-American filmmaker and educator living in Berlin, Germany. His short films include “Slowdance” (2016) and “The Chemo Darkroom” (2018), both of which premiered at the Pornfilmfestival Berlin. His first feature film, “Captain Faggotron Saves the Universe”, premiered at International Film Festival Rotterdam, screened at IFF Karlovy Vary, New Horizons IFF Poland, made its way to some festivals in the USA, and of course was shown at the festival where it all started, the Pornfilmfestival Berlin.
Ambrita Sunshine
Ambrita Sunshine is a performer and artist, who express her art through provocative explorations of sexuality, identity, and gender fluidity. Her performances blend raw personal narratives with bold, immersive visuals, challenging societal norms around intimacy and desire. Active in the underground scene, she uses her art to inspire and celebrate diverse expressions of love and freedom.
